  1. I went to Applebee's a couple of weeks ago and had the best waiter ever. He was the type of waiter that some people may get tired of as he was at our table quite a bit but he was very social and easy to get along with and he remembered everything we told us and gave us really good service. He didn't get in our faces about things but he actually had a conversation with us instead of taking our orders and then hiding in the kitchen.

  2. I think my favorite dining experience was my 13th birthday with dad.

We went to a restaurant called "The Castle" in Leicester, Mass., because I'd always wanted to go. I dressed up and everything, and considering the tomboy I was, it was a feat.

We ordered a fancy meal with courses and everything, and we had a lovely server who brought me roses because it was my birthday.

To this day, it was the swankiest meal I've ever had, but it was also one of the nicest, because I got to spend it with my dad.

Yeah, that and there was a moat. I mean, come on! How many times do you get to cross over a moat before dinner?
