...but why didn't you tell me that yesterday so I could have actually gone home for the day to eat ham instead of ordering chinese?? I mean, it's a good thing I like chinese.

Easter Sunday
I was scheduled to work for today, 11:00 was the time that I needed to be in. When I got out of the shower at 9:30 I saw that I had two missed calls...the restaurant where I work had called me twice and left me a message. My manager told me that I didn't have to come in because they didn't think they would be busy on this Easter Sunday.

MAN! I would be so mad! We have "Blackout Dates" where I work where we are not allowed to ask for that day off and we should be "expecting to work." Which is totally stupid because half of the time we aren't even busy.
